Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data BluePetra collects, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We do not sell your personal data.

1. Who We Are

BluePetra (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Bible quiz and reward platform at bluepetra.com. For privacy-related inquiries, contact us at agencyna@gmail.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the Platform:

a) Information You Provide

  • Account registration: Username, email address, nickname, and hashed password;
  • Essay submissions: The text content of essays you write on the Platform;
  • Web3 wallet address: If you choose to connect a wallet for iCross Coin rewards.

b) Information Collected Automatically

  • Activity data: Quiz attempts, scores, XP earned, streak history, and reward point balances;
  • Session data: We use server-side sessions to keep you logged in. Session data is stored securely on the server and not persisted in cookies beyond a session identifier;
  • Server logs: Standard web server access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) may be retained for security and diagnostic purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account;
  • Calculate and display your XP, Reward Points, and leaderboard ranking;
  • Process essay submissions through the Gemini AI grading service;
  • Process iCross Coin withdrawal requests when you submit them;
  • Detect and prevent fraud, cheating, or abuse of the Platform;
  • Improve the Platform's features and content;
  • Communicate with you regarding account activity (if necessary).

4. Third-Party Services

BluePetra uses a limited set of third-party services, each with their own privacy practices:

  • Google Gemini API: Essay text is sent to Google's Gemini AI for grading. Please review Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Google reCAPTCHA: Used during registration to prevent bot signups. reCAPTCHA data is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Fonts: We load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts CDN. Google may collect limited data; see their policy for details.

We do not use advertising networks, analytics trackers (e.g., Google Analytics), or social media pixels.

5. Leaderboard & Public Data

Your nickname, username, rank title, total XP, and Reward Points are displayed publicly on the Leaderboard page. If you wish to use a pseudonym, you may set a nickname during registration or update it in your account settings.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal information from our systems within a reasonable time, subject to any legal or operational requirements. Quiz history and aggregated statistics may be retained in anonymized form for Platform analytics.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including:

  • Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes — we cannot read your password;
  • All Platform traffic is served over HTTPS (TLS encryption);
  • Session IDs are regenerated on login to prevent session fixation attacks;
  • Database access is restricted to server-side application code only.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your information using industry-standard practices.

8. Children's Privacy

BluePetra is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate data;
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.

10. Cookies

BluePetra uses only a single essential session cookie (PHPSESSID or equivalent) to maintain your login state. This cookie is strictly necessary for the Platform to function and does not track you across other websites. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
