1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of BluePetra (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), operated at bluepetra.com. By registering for an account or accessing any part of the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use BluePetra. By registering, you represent that:

• You are at least 13 years old;
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
• All registration information you provide is accurate and truthful.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration;
• Keep your password secure and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access;
• Not share your account with any other person;
• Not create accounts using automated means or under false pretenses.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, contain offensive usernames or nicknames, or engage in any form of abuse or cheating.

4. Platform Usage & Acceptable Conduct

BluePetra is a faith-based learning community. You agree not to:

• Post or submit content that is offensive, discriminatory, or blasphemous;
• Attempt to manipulate quiz scores, XP, or Reward Points through unauthorized means;
• Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the Platform;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Platform's systems;
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users;
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.

5. Gamification — XP, Reward Points & Rankings

BluePetra operates a gamification system including Experience Points (XP), Reward Points (RP), user ranks, and a leaderboard. The following rules govern this system:

• XP and RP are awarded according to our published economy rules and may change at any time;
• A weekly cap applies: you may only earn points for a specific quiz or essay once per week (resets Sunday);
• Passing thresholds are fixed: MCQ requires ≥60%, Essays require a Gemini AI score of ≥5/10;
• Daily Manna yields +5 XP per claim, with a +2 RP bonus for a 7-day streak;
• Reward Points (RP) exist only within the Platform. RP may be spent in-site — for example to redeem Badges or to convert into iCross Tokens at the published conversion rate — but RP themselves are never withdrawn, transferred off-Platform, sold, or redeemed for cash under any circumstance;
• We reserve the right to correct, adjust, or revoke points in cases of detected abuse or system error.

6. iCross Tokens & Web3 Rewards

BluePetra operates an in-Platform token system (“iCross Tokens” or “iCross”). iCross may be acquired by purchase, or by converting Reward Points at a rate set by BluePetra and shown on the Shop page. By participating in this system, you acknowledge:

• iCross Tokens currently exist only as numbers recorded within the Platform. They carry no guaranteed monetary value, are not a financial instrument or security, and grant no real-world rights, claims, or ownership of any kind;
• This remains true unless and until BluePetra formally opens a public iCross exchange, at which point separate, explicitly published Terms of Use for that exchange will govern any real-world value or redemption rights. No such public exchange currently exists;
• Reward Points are never redeemable for cash; iCross Tokens are likewise not redeemable for cash unless and until the public exchange described above is opened;
• Where a wallet-withdrawal feature is available, it applies only to a member's iCross Token balance (never to Reward Points directly), and is subject to availability, processing time, and BluePetra's sole discretion;
• Withdrawal requests are subject to a minimum iCross amount published on the withdrawal page at the time of your request;
• Sending tokens on a blockchain network has a real transaction cost. A fixed network fee, which varies by the blockchain network you select, is deducted from your withdrawal amount to cover this cost; the fee for each supported network is published on the withdrawal page before you submit a request;
• We are not liable for any losses arising from fluctuations in token value or blockchain network issues;
• Connecting a Web3 wallet does not transfer any legal rights or ownership in the Platform;
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the iCross Token program, or any conversion rate, at any time.

7. AI-Generated Content

Essay grading on BluePetra is powered by Google's Gemini AI. AI-generated feedback is provided for educational purposes only and does not constitute official theological, academic, or professional advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI feedback.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on BluePetra — including quiz questions, essay prompts, design, code, and branding — is the property of BluePetra and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute Platform content without prior written permission.

Bible quotations used on the Platform are in the public domain unless otherwise noted.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

BluePetra is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BluePetra and its operators are not liable for:

• Any loss of XP, RP, or iCross Tokens due to technical issues, account suspension, or Platform changes;
• Inaccuracies in AI-generated content;
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from Platform use.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will note the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page when changes are made.
